Best News...

Today marks the first day of the rest of our life. Justin has finished his final paper of his Master's Degree!! This has been a four-year journey that overall hasn't been horrible, but it's so exciting to think that it's finished!!! It still hasn't sunk in yet. I hope that I still like spending time with Justin, it's been a long time... and I've got a long list!!

So his graduation gift was a Nintendo Wii (yes, I realize Justin's not even in the picture, but who are we kidding... it's not really for him). Now... I've been pretty opposed to game systems because I've received my fair share of phone calls from young ladies who have recently gotten married and each one has said "All he does is play video games!!" So, like I have done with so many things that eventually happen, I vowed that my boys will not grow up to become men who play video games. Well, that was before the Wii came out and I'm a little more ok with the idea of a game system that requires some movement other than fingers. And as I've had time to hone and perfect my parenting skills (please sense the sarcasm) I do realize that it's up to us to limit their use of said game system.

Here's a little idea of what fun it is...

And that's not even the best news. On Friday Justin and I get to go to Las Vegas... just the two of us. We're going as a Graduation Celebration and disquising it as a work trip because there is a Conference there on Saturday. (I secretly hope to hit the jackpot and payoff all the student loans!!)

Congratulations Justin I'm so proud of you!!!

Congrats Justin!!! I am glad you have joined the Wii crowd. That is the only video game system I own. I got it for my birthday last year, and it is REALLY fun. If you need any game recommendations or anything we have played quite a few. Also I think "Wii Fit" is coming out soon, which is like an exercise program on your Wii. It is super cool. Well, have fun!!!

WOW! Who is not happy in your household?!?!
My Justin would be drueling over your t.v. alone!
I am in the same boat (but we are at the 6 year mark:)) so I understand how you feel and I can imagine your "honey-do" list:)
Have a fabulous time this weekend (I am guessing the boys will have plenty to occupy them while you are gone).
Hugs and kisses-
Suz

YAY JUSTIN!!! Whoo hoo! I hope you guys have an awesome time in Vegas! That should be a lot of fun for you two... Sounds like you guys are having fun with the Wii, of course Joe is playing ours as we speak! He loves the new Mario Kart that just came out.

Love you guys!

P.S. Good job Asher, you are a pro!

I don't even know Justin, and I'm impressed :) Congratulations!

Oh, and if you manage to hit the jackpot, could I have just a few thousand to add on to my two-bedroom house before the new baby arrives? Thanks :)
