I've received several nasty emails, comments, messages and calls about my lack of updates to the blog (yes mom, they were all from you) and truth be told, I'm 33 now and I just can't keep up anymore. This is a picture from my birthday. Jakin REALLY wanted to get me Monopoly and Justin realized why when he took them to Target to get my gift. Jakin kept saying he wanted to get the Indiana Jones version of Monopoly... FOR ME (Justin didn't fall for it since it was $10 more.)
Our next thrilling adventure was when a pastor from Wichita took us sailing. It was a 27 ft. tri-maran (like the boat in WaterWorld) and at first the boys were a little leary, but by the end of the trip I was a wreck because they were running around like it was the Play Place at McDonald's.
Labor Day weekend we missed out on a visit from our dear friends the Jakubowski's due to car trouble, so instead our excitement for the weekend was a Drive-In movie. It started with Star Wars Clone Wars at about 8:45 (an hour past bed time), the second movie was Journey to the Center of the Earth (that ended at midnight and they were all still up) and the third movie was Batman: Dark Knight, which was the only one Justin and I actually wanted to see. So I laid in the van with the boys, holding their heads down so they wouldn't see it was Batman, until they fell asleep. Can't say it was a great night, but the boys enjoyed staying up late and watching movies outside laying on top of the van. Don't know if we'll do that again!
Finally, I'm sure you all know that Season 4 of The Office came out on September 2nd, and yes, we've watched ALL the episodes already. You should too!

I am totally jealous of the sailing, though I don't think I would enjoy it much with 3 younguns running aboard!
Drive ins....Witchita sounds pretty fabulous now. We only have 2 theaters in this city...waz up?

I was just thinking last night that I'll be 33 in about 2 months. When I was younger I always imagined that I'd have it all together by now. Turns out, I'm still just a kid... So, now I'm wondering, when will I figure it out??

I totally agree! The office is AMAZING! Season four is the best... Joe and I have watched all of them too! If only we would have watched them all together :( Love you!
I have to admit that I saw all of season 4 before it came out on DVD, bad I know :) Sailing looks like a blast. * And I love the waterworld comment, I think I am the only person in the world that really loves that movie. lol. I am glad to see you guys are having fun.

i suck at being a good friend. seriously- forget my birthday for forever...ok. happy belated. you look great for 33! sow your mom at the state fair for a breif moment. she was working the in the education building and my brothers clogging group was entertaining outside of it- so i ran into her. anyways. a drive in sounds awesome. i wanna go. hey- watched pretty women last night cuz it was on tv and thought of you the whole time. good times. love you-
